Can't Beat the Exchange Rates

I made a trip to India from Los Angeles in May 2009 to have some extensive dental work done. I was traveling with friends who wanted to stop in Germany, so we changed U.S. dollars for Euros and Indian Rupees through World Banknotes Exchange. I wish I'd converted more U.S. dollars into rupees before we left. The conversion rate once I got to India was not nearly as favorable as the rate we got at World Banknotes Exchange. I recommend them to anyone, and I make sure you convert a little extra so you don't have to pay the fees elsewhere. ~Denise Subramaniam

Travel Tips to Turkey - #7

If you're planning to visit Turkey, here are some practical travel tips.

1.Money - If you can, get some Turkish lira before you leave - around $100 worth. I don't like to change money with money lenders in airports because the exchange is terrible.
